The rotating part of a DC motor is called the rotor. The rotor is composed of an iron core laminated with a slotted silicon steel sheet, a rotor winding coil, a rotor shaft and a commutator. In order to obtain sufficient torque, the current passing through the armature winding is relatively large. Therefore, the rotor winding adopts thick rectangular bare copper enameled wire to be wound into a forming winding.
